Under the Utilities tab click Add Plugins.

Choose cp_donglecheck.ls from your plugins folder.

Under Utilities click Edit Startup.

For the Action choose cp_DongleCheck, and press Ok.

Now if you close Modeler, unplug your dongle, and start modeler again it will show:
